SERVOLUX TAKES PART IN THE FIRST CROSS-BORDER ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT WORKFLOW

15 March 2021

THE FIRST PILOT PROJECT ON EXCHANGE OF LEGALLY SIGNIFICANT ELECTRONIC DOCUMENTS IS IMPLEMENTED BETWEEN RUSSIA AND BELARUS

The project was implemented under the supervision of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus and the Federal Tax Service of Russia in order to set up a secure exchange of electronic documents for goods and speed up the business processes of exporting and importing companies. Besides Servolux Group of Companies, X5 Retail Group, Belvest Retail, Samsung Electronics Rus Company, Food Milk, Signify and others took part in it.
The massive transition to telecommuting amid the pandemic has actualized the need for electronic exchange of documents and data. Within the framework of the project, it was possible to ensure the automatic conversion of documents that comply with the legislation of the two countries, while maintaining their full legal significance and guaranteeing the authenticity of the electronic digital signature. The successful launch of cross-border electronic document workflow will allow participating companies to significantly speed up business processes, reduce the costs of paperwork, as well as expand the opportunities for import and transit in the market.
Participation in the cross-border EDI program for Servolux Group is an important step in the process of business digitalization. At the moment, work is underway to further develop and scale the project to improve the efficiency of market participants in the import-export of goods.
